Studies show that hyperloop can move at airplane speeds with the energy efficiency of high-speed rail. The entire HyperloopTT system has the potential to generate a surplus of energy through solar panels as well as with energy recovered during regenerative braking. Capsules are powered by battery and carry no fuel on board, resulting in an emission-free system.
Based on the Great Lakes Hyperloop Feasibility Study, when implementing the HyperloopTT system, CO2 emissions are reduced by over 140 million tons over 25 years.

Hyperloop is a system that moves people and goods at unprecedented speeds safely, efficiently, and sustainably. Passengers and cargo capsules hover through a network of low-pressure tubes between cities. Proprietary passive magnetic levitation and a linear electric motor combined with a tube environment in which air has been drastically reduced allow the capsules to move at high speed with nearly zero friction.

• We’ve demonstrated the incredible profitability, ROI and economic impact hyperloop will have on the region.
• We’ve gathered 90+ partners and stakeholders in the Great Lakes Region.
• We have bi-partisan support from State Representatives in Ohio.
• We’ve obtained insurance and created a generic guideline for design, operation and certification.
• We’ve created an implementation plan that can start as early as 2023 with construction completion by 2028.
Our goal is to have hyperloop operational in the Great Lakes by the end of the decade.
